Traditional Canarian pottery workshop in Adeje

Update 30 April 2014: It was a great success last year and it is being repeated in Adeje Cultural Centre between 19 and 21 May from 4pm. Inscription is free, but requires prior registration on the course: to do this, ring 922 756 246.

Original post 6 May 2013: It was all the rage in the UK in the 70s and 80s, and is still a highly regarded craft in many areas, not least the Canaries, where traditional pottery commands respect and good prices. And now there’s a Canarian pottery workshop, for beginners, in the Adeje Cultural Centre, between 13 and 16 May, and 20 to 23 May, between 5 and 7pm. Inscription is free, but requires prior registration on the course: to do this, ring 922 756 246.

you would need to check with the council local to where you’ll be staying, or with the arts and crafts association Artesania … contact them via their website HERE.

  3. Can you tell me if there are any pottery classes running near Puerto Santiago or Palm Mar currently or in the near future please?

    Thanks,

During this pandemic there are very few classes of any kind being held other than remotely via the internet. This does not sound very sensible for pottery, so I suggest that you ask the local council.
