Two accidents on south Tenerife’s roads this morning leave four in hospital but none seriously injured

Two accidents that looked horrendous this morning have thankfully resulted in no more than moderate injuries. The more apparently significant incident was late this morning when a multi-vehicle pile-up near Guaza on the TF1 heading towards Los Cristianos caused major tailbacks. Of the several vehicles and motorbike involved, however, only two people needed treatment for injuries, one of them being a motorcyclist: both were lucky to escape with no worse than cuts and bruises.

Earlier, the other incident involved a head-on collision just after 6.30am between two vehicles on the TF 657 near La Camella. Again just two people were injured, one man receiving stomach injuries and the other lower leg and neck injuries. Both were taken to Hospiten Sur where they are said to be in comfortable condition.
