Two cyclists in hospital after separate accidents with cars this morning

Two cyclists were injured this morning in separate accidents in the north and metropolitan areas of Tenerife. Emergency services say that the first incident involving a 49-year-old cyclist took place at 8.30am in the Ramblas in Santa Cruz, and the second, with a 40-year-old cyclist, occurred around 10am at the Bosquito roundabout in the San Antonio area of La Orotava. Both accidents involved a collision between the bikes and cars, and while the first victim was taken to Candelaria Hospital with injuries to his arm, the second was taken to Hospiten Bellevue with chest injuries. Both are said to be in comfortable condition.
