Another person in hospital with serious burns after gas bottle explosion in petrol station

And there’s been another serious incident after an explosion of another gas bottle, this time a camping gas bottle in a petrol station on the TF614, the road from San Isidro to El Médano. The accident happened just after 3.30, when emergency services were called out to a 37-year-old man with serious burns and a 25-year-old woman who was less gravely injured. Both were transferred to HUC in Santa Cruz, the man by helicopter due to the severity of his injuries.  Cecoes112

Original Post 23 March: A 35-year-old woman is in hospital with serious burns after a gas explosion around 6am this morning in a cafeteria in a gas station in El Fraile, Arona. The causes of the explosion are still unknown. The establishment was not seriously affected by the small fire which broke out. RTVE
